FILMING AN EPISODE OF ILLINOIS OUTDOORS AT REELFOOT LAKE, TN

Reelfoot Lake in Tennesee is well known as one of the premiere crappie fisheries in the Midwest. This was my first time fishing this water, and I was not disappointed. My buddy Don and I filmed an episode for his TV show Illinois Outdoors (to air on Comcast on Saturday April 9th). We had fantastic accommodations at the Bluebank Resort, on the south shore of Reelfoot and fished with legendary crappie guide Billy Blakley. We had no trouble filling the livewell, and we boated several 2-plus pounders.
