AGLOW FALL CONFERENCE AT RATHBUN LAKE

I recently had the privilege to attend the 2011 Fall Conference for the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers (AGLOW) at the Honey Creek Resort on Rathbun Lake, Iowa. This informative, educational and fun event was attended by a diverse group of outdoor professionals, including gear manufacturers, CVB representatives, public relations professionals and some of the most talented outdoor writers and journalists I have had to honor to meet.

The organization is one of the most well-respected among outdoor associations and does an amazing job in promoting and perpetuating the great outdoors, our natural resources, outdoor traditions and the outdoor recreational experience by informing and educating the public through print, broadcast and web-based media.

I was especially honored to have had the opportunity to present two seminars on how technology is changing the way we communicate as outdoor writers.
